Way back in October we went on a trip to see some fall color. This hike might have been the highlight of the trip for me. It was definitely the most strenuous hike I've ever done.
Oops...the watermark covered the sign...
The hike started in this little evergreen clump, but the trees quickly disappeard. And there was hardly any trees to be found.
oops again...i need to fix that watermark action.
heck yes...i wish we'd seen a few goats.
at the summit (or at least the highest point of our trek) the wind was ridiculous.
nice. typical leah picture.
pretty food at a little shop.
hey there's some fall color! we made our way to Blowing Rock.
Flash forward...and we went to the fair.
with this sweet boy (i also purchased a new editing software around this time. hence the crazy ((not really)) edits).
and with this sweet girl.
and these fun people.
i think ted may be partial to ada gee, but who wouldn't be?
this picture does not even begin to portray the amount of eating that went on whilst at the fair.
my attempt at artfulness.
we convinced laura that this ride wasn't as bad as it looked...boy was she in for a surprise. so were we.
and what is a trip to the fair without fireworks?
ahhh...good times. perhaps i'll stop there...for now.
